I have been
incredibly blessed! . Shortly after I started my blog, a wonderful
reader sent me an email asking for my address, as she wanted to send me
something. I was so very touched that she wanted to send me a gift! I
thought it was very sweet, and was expecting a card, or a mug, or maybe
an ornament, and I was looking forward to receiving it. Then yesterday,
it arrived.
A CAMERA!!! I have been embarrassed to post photos on my blog, due to
the very poor
quality of the pictures I was able to take. A new camera was not in my
budget. So I have not been posting photos, other than ones I could use
from the web.And this dear, dear lady, who knows me only from my blog,
sent me a camera! A beautiful, brand new, perfectly glorious camera! A
camera that even takes video. A gorgeous, shiny red camera. For me!! I
cannot tell you how shocked I was to open the box, and find it. I was
stunned, in shock. Overcome that she would do something so sweet and
kind and generous. I was moved to tears, warmed to my very soul by this
blessing from out of the blue. Never, ever, in my entire life, has
someone given me a gift, for no reason except that the giver is the
epitome of generosity and kindness. So, my dear friends, I can now post
pictures of my projects, pictures that you can actually see!! Oh, I have
to get busy! I have a lot of projects waiting, I didn't want to start
on anything until I could have "before" pictures. Now I can, so I must
take before pictures, and do my projects, and take after pictures!!!
The
only problem is that I cannot take a good picture of my new camera,
because I must use my old camera to take the picture!! But I am going to
take one anyway, and then, hopefully tomorrow, I will post pictures. I
do not yet know what the photos will be, but they will be beautiful. Not
in the skill of the photographer, but in the sharpness of the photos
themselves.
Good grief, not only is it a lousy picture, but I managed to cut part of the camera off in the shot, trying to get a close-up!
Yesterday was a day that I will never forget. Joani has
given me a blessing, without even knowing what an incredible blessing it
truly is.
My cup, and my heart, runneth over.
May you always be as blessed as I have been today!
Sandra
What a wonderful Christmas gift! Joani must be a very special kind of person to see you have a need and want to fill that need for you!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, she is!!Amazing. Thank you so much for coming by, Maureen. I hope you have a wonderful day. Blessings
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet, generous gift! I can't wait to see all your wonderful projects! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
ReplyDeleteSo sweet, incredibly generous! I can't wait to really get my blog running the way I intend, now that I can post pictures! Thank you for coming by, Marci!
DeleteWow that truly blessed my day too :*) It's incredible what kindness can do across the world.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you Sandra, that you have a great new camera! Learning how to use it is fun. I had to be very patient myself when I learned how to use mine, but I'm getting better.
I'm looking forward to seeing photos of all your projects!!

It is very true, kindness can accomplish so much. I am glad Joani made you feel blessed, too.
DeleteIt is going to take some time to learn how to use it, there are so many options and features! So far I can take a picture (learned how to turn the flash off), and download it to the computer, so I am making progress, lol!
Thanks for stopping in Stephanie!
that is a nice gift! so glad for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dani! And thanks for stopping in, I appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteIncredible. What a beautiful and kind gesture. Your post moved me to tears as well. The blogging community (readers and fellow bloggers) are such a welcoming, encouraging, supportive group of people. This inspired me and reminded me, again, of why I adore being a part of this wonderful group of people.
ReplyDeleteIs it not incredible? Sweet and generous and so very kind. It has only been recently that I have even known about blogs, and I am constantly amazed and delighted by the welcome, kindness, warmth, and genuine friendship that has enveloped me. The sweet people (such as you, Amy!) that have offered assistance and advice, people who send me messages of encouragement, who leave comments on my posts,(even the posts I am concerned that NOBODY will bother to read)! If the whole world was as wonderful as the world of bloggers, we would have heaven on earth!
ReplyDeleteOh Sandra! I'm so very happy for you! Can't wait to see pretty pictures of all your projects! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cristina, and thank you for coming over! I am up to my ears in the manual, trying to figure it all out, lol. I am not very technically savvy and I have never even attempted to use a camera with all these features, but I am loving every second.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you as you use the new camera and the person who sent it to you. What a nice thing to do for a very nice lady. I love hearing about Christmas miracles!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Dewena! That is how I feel about it, I received a Christmas miracle! And I do pray for blessings on Joani, and all my dear friends in blogland. The wonderful people who blog and read are incredible. I consider blogging to be another incredible blessing for me. Hugs?
DeleteHugs back to you!
DeleteThank you!

ReplyDeleteHugs,
claire
Thank you so much Clarie! I don't think Joani realized that when she blessed me, her kindness and generosity would also be a blessing to so many others. How could anybody not be blessed by someone so wonderful?! And you are a blessing to me, too, every day!! Hugs
DeleteSandra, may you enjoy it with love and we will enjoy those beautiful photos of the projects befores and afters. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI am already enjoying it, Joani!!! Thank you so much and I am so glad you came by! My granddaughter is bringing the baby over tomorrow so I can take pictures of her. What fun, we are going to take pictures of her dressed for Christmas, and use some things I bought to redo, as props! Hugs and blessings!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see them. Have a great time while visiting.

ReplyDeleteSandra! I'm so very happy for you! Can't wait to see pretty pictures of all your projects
Thank you, Angelica! I am so happy, and I am so anxious to get working on my projects and blog about them. That is what my blog is supposed to be about, but all I have been doing is blabbering about my own thoughts and interests, not posting things others might find interesting or inspiring. I am so very glad you came by.
ReplyDeleteThat is so nice! What a fantastic friend and gift. :) Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Megan! She is fantastic. Thank you so much for coming by, I appreciate you!

DeleteOh my goodness Sandra, I'm just now seeing this post. What a wonderful blessing you have received, not just the camera but a friend in the blog-world. How incredible and wonderful is that!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a blessing, the friendship even more than the camera. Every time I see the camera, I am overwhelmed again by the warmth in my heart, the gratitude for such kindness!
